Six hours at the show, speaking with virtually every New England resort, lots of swag, pocket full of business cards, I declare success! Picked up vouchers and other goodies to hand out at the next club meeting. Hint: Stop by our Dec 16th meeting if you want a free Cranmore voucher or a chance at winning some Whiteface vouchers!

Lots of good stuff going on. The new glades at Whiteface look incredible, nearly a mile, no bailout, opened last year. The Sugarloaf glades plan looks pretty awesome too. Cranmore has a really cool autonoous Children's center building, with controlled access and direct egress to a beginner area.

Cannon had one of the new Mittersill chairs on display. Everyone wanted to sit on it.

Sunday River heard that WJeness was coming up, so they tore down the gondi and took it to the show, just for protection ;) SR had a snow machine blowing. One club member told me it was fake. But all I can say, is that I got wet standing under it when it fired up.

Magic was rockin, and the photographer must have been under a spell :dunce:

Hannah Kearney was locked up by Dartmouth Hitchcock. I wanted a photo op but there was a long line of little girls who wanted their photos taken. Carry on. Glenn Plake had his colored 20" spiked hair causing quite the crowd to gather.

Guess which one's the bozo?

I shoved Barry Burbank out of the studio and commandeered the BZ Weather Center. It is now in control by WinnChill and Lionel. Finally, we have a revolution in winter weather forecasting; the forecasts will be correct!
BTW, I did meet WinnChill at the show - we are in line for some amazing forecasting this winter!

There's nothing like being surrounded by everything SKI! Defintately a good vibe. And it was a great chance to meet Bill--thanks for taking the time to chat! It's good to see the passion for skiing in action.

Ski On!
