Date(s) Skied: 1/30/09 Afternoon

Resort or Ski Area: Bretton Woods

Conditions: Packed powder, powder, snowing all day

Trip Report:

Great conditions- large patches of powder still available from the week's storms. It was also snowing off and on- maybe 2 inches all day- so that kept a lot nice and fresh.

Stayed mostly ont eh far right, as usual, and though it was as busy as I've ever seen it, it was never more than a couple minutes at the West Moutain Express.

Did one run in Rosebrook Canyon at the end of the day- some scraped down spots, a few exposed rocks about 2/3 down Minahan's Ridge, but overall pretty good.

Overall, beautiful day. Sandwiches at Beiderman's in Plymouth n the way back were, as always, fantastic.

I'll have to keep Beiderman's in mind as I ski Tenney often. I've yet to venture into downtown Plymouth on my way through though.

Definitely the best sub shop in the area. For sit down... the Lucky Dog just past Beiderman's is quite good for a meal and they have a variety of rubs which are quite good.. You'll pass George's on the Tenney Mountain Highway which has great rubs and excellent BBQ (not so excellent on the sea food). Common Man is over priced and low on value so I would give that a pass. Not many good pizza and sub shops in the area, sadly. Upstairs from Beiderman's is Chase Street Market for your craft beer needs.
