BRETTON WOODS, NH — On Wednesday, November 10 at 8:30 am, Bretton Woods Mountain Resort became the first ski area in New Hampshire to open for the 2004-2005 skiing and riding season.

The Learning Center Quad is servicing Rosebrook Meadow, which, as always, is complimentary for all ages. In addition to the snowmaking in progress on Rosebrook Meadow, the snow guns are also blowing over Upper Express, Bigger Ben, and Bretton’s Wood. By the weekend, the resort hopes to open over 37 acres of terrain serviced by 2 lifts, including the Bethlehem Express High Speed Quad Chair.

For the latest updates on trail openings, ski cam shots, snow conditions and weather reports, as well as lift tickets and season pass deals at The Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods, please call 877-873-0626, toll free, or visit www.brettonwoods.com.

So this means that Flatten has FREE skiing today on that lift?

Granted that it is probably the flattest of their runs, FREE is a good deal

Spoke with someone who "skied" there on Tuesday. It's about 200 yards of almost white...it better be free.

From my experience with them, I'm surprised that they did not charge.

Was out hiking yesterday....did Tecumseh (look for my hike report later today) and there was enough snow on the upper mtn to ski. :p

In fact, there were some snowboarders messing around in the park and I told them, "go to the top, young men."
