Looking for input on broken Look binding. They are '02/'03 model Look Pivot 12 titanium bindings and the "wing" on the toe piece snapped off. I have emailed Look/Dynastar and have heared nothing back as of today, stopping in at Ski Market and they will try to contact the local rep. Anyway have not been able to compress my pics to fit in this post, so if you think you might be able to help pm me with your email so I can get you some photo's. Really can't afford new bindings right now so any fix possible welcome. Thanks

A five-year-old binding failing is not terribly out of the ordinary. Your best bet if you're not going to spring for a new pair is to try to find another Look toepiece of the same vintage to replace the busted one (although I'd wonder what kind of shape your other toepiece is in, too, as it should have similar construction and have experienced similar forces over its lifetime).

Thanks for the reponse. I think that it has been resolved. Ski Market was able to contact Look/Dynastar and they said that it is not covered under warrenty but if I can ship it they can replace the broken part. They believe that they may have some replacement parts from that model kicking around. So, 10-14 days I should be back skiing. Pat on the back for Seth at Ski Market on Comm. Ave in Boston, so far things look good.
