Date(s) Skied:

Resort or Ski Area:

Conditions:

Weather: Cold, bluebird skies, highs in the teens.

2007-2008 Report # : 29

Trip Report: Not too much to say...I went up for a few hours of skiing at Burke on Monday. Was literally one of maybe 100 people there. No crowds and the snow was good. The snowmaking runs are getting back up to shape.

Hit all the snowmaking runs. Carriage Road/Dipper was first...ROTD.

Meadows/Lower Bear Den was second I'd say.

I also did several runs on the Poma, hitting Warren's Way and Lower Bear Den and Lower Willoughby.

I found some snowmaking work on Binney Lane (finally...probably because the ground is now frozen):

And did some quick spins on those runs down there.

The cold was intense...requiring frequent stops.

I did scout out Powderhorn and found that it was in decent shape...it had been groomed earlier. Needs some more snow.

The gallery.

No problem, KS. As I said, it appears that folks are enjoying the pics and checking out my albums, which is great.

Carriage Road truly was immaculate on Monday.
