Headed to Burke on Sat and probably Owls Head Sunday making use of some Fox 44 vouchers.
Thinking Newport makes the most sense to stay the night. Besides the Newport City Motel are there other relatively inexpensive places we should consider?
Won't be with the wife so don't need anything super fancy, just clean is all I ask.

May ski Jay on Sunday instead of Owls if it looks like they get snow Sat night.

I stayed at North Troy B&B right close to the border a few years ago when I skied Jay. The owner is a crankee yankee but it's all bark and no bite. Rates are low. Breakfast is decent. Village is sleepy with a nice restaurant named Tastings.

A couple of options if you are looking to save some money:
Motel Fleur de Lys in Magog - $51 on hotels.com
La Grande Maison Blanche in Stanstead - $49 on booking.com
Maison-église M-P Villeneuve in Mansonville - $65 on booking.com
Owl's head has their own lodging. Their number is 1-800-363-3342
