That place stinks of brussels sprouts! It’s actually kind of interesting brussels sprouts and cauliflower. Roasted vegetables, healthy, lodge food. And you know they still have dollar cans of beers? It’s actually two dollars now but damn. Snow or rain up there? How was it?

Rain at Berkshire East on Friday but it did not refreeze so conditions were nice and soft (but freeze coming mid-day Sunday). Weird crowd with bus loads of tourists/first timers and swarms of racer kids, but lodge had empty seats and old summit lift was ski-on. Almost all snowmaking trails now open - only UMass, Hemlock, Chute, Thunder/Bolt remain.

I avoid Grizzly on icy days but today it was good.
