Went for a 2 hour ski this morning which turned into 3. The snowmakers continue to pound the mountain and the word is 100% open on Wednesday. After starting with a t2b Marc Antoney run, 3 Nile Miles and a Cliffhanger (all in good shape) I rode the lift with an aquaintance who informed me that the mountain had blown a refresh on Rocket and had placed brushes in the snow to form moguls. Spent the next 2 hours doing my part to lay in good lines. Could Camelback be getting it? They are taking steps in that direction. Traffic was light so more work is needed but the snow was beautiful and they have the low energy guns with which they should be able to refresh them on a regular basis. They had bumps on Rocket a few years ago but went to Asp for the last 2 seasons. Might be a good move to back to Rocket as it has a straight drop as opposed to Asp which has kind of a triple fall line with the curves at the top. Lighting is probably better on Rocket as well (I'll let you know Jaybigred). The mountain is in great shape.

Thanks Alex! I won't be back in VT until Jan 7th, and will be in NJ this weekend, next weekend, and the weekend of January 14th. I am not a big fan of Pocono mountains on the weekend, but if the lines on Rocket ski-in well, I will def. make some midweek trips for some nightskiing, just to get my legs in shape. Keep the updates comin'!
