Hey All,
I'm back from a fun afternoon session at Camelback. The drive was uneventful and it took me about 45 minutes door to door. Atomic Jeff predictably passed me on the drive up since I drive like a grandma. I pulled in at 1:25PM and parked right at the bottom of the metal steps which are mad technical..22 steps to be exact. It was 59 degrees under partly sunny skys. Some dude in the parking lot was staring at A-Jeffs Public Enemys like they were double D's..lol. I booted up and went to customer service, I showed them my Blue season pass and I was already in the database from last season, and I secured my free lift ticket.
I started out skiing the west-side..first a run down the Rocket which was mad applesauce but fun. After our second liftride..me and A-Jeff were joined by three of Camelbacks finest patrollers..Tele-Ben, Mtn-Bike99x and Ski911..Ski911 was all about the right side of Margies which had some sweat smooth corn. I then met DimetwotheMC or whatever his name is, a longtime PASR poster and he joined us for some runs including a mad smooth terrain park to the Stevenson quad. I met TTC6 for the first time and he was skiing with another snowboarder and a newbie girl who was pretty hot. We followed them down Nile Mile and then hit up Cliffhanger, The Pharoh and Raceway..Raceway had some saweet smooth corn..there was some standing water near the base.
Atomic Jeff took a sweet picture of me on the side of Pharoh..mad technical!!! What What or Que Que for you Spanish Speaking snowsports enthusiasts..ya heard..OK back to the skiing..there were hardly any people but enough that there were a few people on every run. Tele-Ben attended to an injured skier in the park and me, A-Jeff and Dime hit a few more runs on the east-side..then a mad steezy run down Honeymoon lane back to the west side and a final run down The Hump which is mad technical..In total I skied 15 runs off the Stevenson lift and 7 runs off the Sullivan lift for 22 runs and 16,200 vertical feet. I'm using 600 feet for the Sullivan and 800 for the Stevenson..anyway I was back on the road at 4:20PM..and I resisted the urge to hit the new Sonic on Route 33 but don't fear..I'll be parking lot pimping at the Allentown Farmers Market and Wal-Greens..
Tomorrow there will be mad PASRs and AZers in the hizzle..it's gonna be off the hinges..fo shizzle..OK I'm Out!!!
