Conditions: Snowing and breezy
Trip Report:
Showed up just after 8 and picked up my pass. Hit the snow at 8:30 and made a run down Middle/Lower Cannon over to Rocket. Rocket had some funky mounds and lots of little stones in the snow. After a few runs there headed back to the quad and lapped that until about 11, when I had to bail to go work. The snow was really loose and got pushed around easily creating lots of piles that were hard to see at times in the flat light. It was a good opening day for Cannon and I was happy to see Rocket on the first day after last years poor terrain on opening day.
