Ski Area: Cannon

Conditions: Powder, Packed Powder

Trip Report:
Cold day with the wind blowing. It started at 5 at the base and -2 up top and didn't get much warmer all day. Add in the winds and the wind chill at the top was in the mid-twenties below zero and about -10 at the base. Cannon was reporting 16-19 inches of snow, but the majority of it ended up in the woods. The wind was whipping up the trails scouring the exposed spots down to an icy hardpack. Spent most of the day off the Zoomer chair where it is sheltered from the winds and the snow was boot deep all day. Only took one run from the top, deciding the best conditions and weather were down lower. It started to snow at about 1:00 making for some flat light which made things interesting. Great snow, great day.
