Cannon Saturday 1/28 messed up the date in the title
Sorry for the delay, I've had a cold ever since I got home from skiing on Sunday.

Icy day but a fun day none the less. Good thing I took the time to thoroughly sharpen the skis the previous night. Ravine and Tramway were the best runs off the top. profile was pretty slick, and skylight was a skating rink. On my only run down skylight, I saved a icy slide on the first bend to the right. I then watched as a ski instructor with about 6 kids following followed my tracks, and they all fell down like dominoes on the ice.

On the lower mountain, ravine was by far the best as they were making fresh snow on it. Of the front 5, Gary's was the best, but avalanche was also good for some speed runs. The banshee area had some of the best snow on the mountain because it is so lightly used. Beautiful day, no wind in the morning, but a bit windy in the afternoon whih blew all the loose snow off the upper mountain.

I was there too. Did Skylight on my first run and was honestly surprised it was open. Vista Way was open early but they put up the rope just as I stepped out of the tram building. Kidlet took a horrifying fall on the Fox Tail terrain park, went for a jump at speed and did an unintentional flip. He was fine, but seeing him heading for a head-down landing took 10 years off my life.
