Important new information.
Stayed at the Hampton in Lincoln earlier this week. Modern, decent breakfast, close to everything and $123/night. Only issue was that the room was pretty small. But the 55" TV was nice.
My only problem with so many of these places. Dry, I bring a portable humidifier. Started to feel guilty about running the shower nonstop so I could breathe.

I haves never had a bad experience at Indian Head. (Except for the year of the mushroom). Peckitts Inn ?

Butt, I love the Town and Country Inn on RT2 in New Hampshire going into Maine. Owned (in part by a KISS fan from U.N.H.)

the town and country is fucking weird. time capsule to the 80s. that gym is one of the silliest places ive ever gotten a workout in. and the pool/hot tub is disgusting.

i prefer the top notch inn in gorham. best $100 motel in ski country maybe.

how is cannon skiing and how will it ski saturday if they get 5" friday?

I've stayed at the T&C many times for work. Even the restaurant menu is from 1989. But it's also pretty good quality food for short money.

getting thin in a few places but last couple days have been spectacular; deep blue bird T shirt skiing today. garys and rocket are still deep, everything up top is well covered, middle cannon is fine. have not been over to mittersill since last week but heard barons was deep, saddle melted out.

FYI - there are events scheduled both saturday and sunday at mittersill

U16 eastern championships on barons today. Mittersill should be back open to the public tomorrow. They are trying to put Taft back together.

Brother, they are Lebanese. You are correct across the board. Butt, when you're trying to gain the highest peaks, it's a good starting point. Plus, you have Gorahm and ....🏇

Cannon had a lot of closed terrain, but found enough to ski on. The 4" refresh Friday was a big help. Vis and wind was the main issue.

Liked the food at Woodstock Inn, beer was meh. Very noticeable smell of chlorine in the beer glass, and when I mentioned it the bartender shrugged. I've come across that a few other times elsewhere, and it's a real damper on the bar/brewery. Liked the food at Common Man, more creative ingredients. Had a canned Shilling pilsner (Alexandr), good break from IPAs. The Supermarket deli in Franconia was open early and made a great $6 sandwich.

Restaurants in Bradford VT on the way home were worth a stop Liked the Colatina.

Conclusion: I enjoy visiting NH skiing, but not tempted to move there. Thanks for all the input.

Okay Mr. Moose:

When you're at Cannon...

Hit Truants, not the popular Woodstock Brew...

Travel West under I93 (away from Loon). It's your first right on Main St.

Think Cannon's Sushi Yoshi

Hope all is well

SWETT

edit: Clarks Trained Bears. They should be up y now. If not, just shake them.:unsure:
