You used to have a Toyota Land Rover right? You were right behind me.
FJ. Colorado now.You used to have a Toyota Land Rover right?
I'll go with b+. It was weird that whole side didn't see snowmaking..lower and turnpike especially as they take the load off the middle mtn although having bypass was great. Also great to have select midweek days with the tram running, would love to see more of that. What kind of grade would Jace get for his first year as GM ? Considering it was generally a good year decent snowmaking temps limited january like thaws etc. I give him a B+ since paulies, turnpikes, blueball and L hardscrable had no snow made. Anyone know if it was a +$ season or -$ season? Feb 28th advisory comittie meeting status minutes ?
The only times I’ve seen the tram run midweek is turning Massachusetts vacation weeks. Has that changed? Also great to have select midweek days with the tram running, would love to see more of that.
It's good when no one's on them. Weekends nope. One thing about Cannon they will blow snow and open half a trail. I don't think they do it to inflate the trail count, butt because some of the trails are 50 - 75 Yds wide; coupled with the steep lines it takes a ton of snow.Surprises me they never got to that skiers left side on the lower half of the mountain. My one complaint about Cannon is I don't particularly care for the Peabody terrain. Just too much of a choke point that really results in poor snow conditions quickly. Anything they can do to spread the traffic out in the middle and down low helps.
Maybe while the Peabody was down? I missed all that. I used to love to race the tram (never beat it though). That’s a run I could do all the time. You could practically ski all of Cannon only riding the tram. Probably takes less time than riding the Peabody and Cannonball. I usually end up lapping on either the Zoomer or Cannonball chairs. PThey ran it a few times randomly, mostly nh resident Wednesdays.
People hate on the tram but for me personally I love taking morning/afternoon laps on it. The chair setup at cannon is kind of a drag for t2b runs imo..
And cold
tram definitely ran a bunch of NH wednesdays, peabody was only down for a few days, it was not multiple weeksMaybe while the Peabody was down? I missed all that. does not hold snow and too steep for most skiers. I would love to see a cut through from mid mountain to the top of tuckerbrook, just for getting back and forth between the upper mountain and mittersill when the saddle is boney but the topography is not cooperative. The whole aspect on the left side of Mittetsill, basically between Wicked Hard and Saddle/Baron's Run should be trails and/or glades.
I only skied a couple Wednesdays and missed out both times.tram definitely ran a bunch of NH wednesdays, peabody was only down for a few days, it was not multiple weeks
also raced the tram decades ago when I had a pass as a UNH student, remember it being fun. should probably give it another chance next year. a half empty tram with no wait is not bad, a packed tram with a wait is a lousy experience.
He's dead. I told him not to drink cheap beer
Maybe we'll hear from steamboat1...
