Jace- curious to hear your thoughts on how Indy Pass has been working for Cannon. With their change in pricing for next season (I.e the plus pass only $50 more then the regular) they’ll presumably sell many more blackout-free passes. Cannon and others have blacked out most peak days to make it work….does this change the calculus at all?

Likely inappropriate for me to go into detail here. There are a few knowns any skier looking closely would observe:

- Indy is an important line of business; it's one of several.

- With intention, we kept our blackout policy in place this year.

- Generally, there are always opportunities for process improvement when it comes to sophisticated tech applications like reservations, redemptions, systems integration, access control, etc.

- Cannon is popular amongst Indy passholders -- and that's a great thing.

Is there a reason with an Indy redemption, the ticket seller has to walk back to some other computer to do part of the transaction only to come back to the Endibani terminals up front? Waste of time especially when the line is a mile long like it was Wednesday.

Once you have a Cannon RFID card, you can do your Indy Pass redemption entirely online and go straight to lift

Yes. Indy Pass information, including confirming a redemption or processing a walkup with no reservation, requires us to log into a separate system, then bring that info into our terminals to process your RFID card.

That's kind of surprising given it's Entabeni hardware all over the place.

Well every mountain has its own RFID system (though many use Axis hardware) regardless of the POS system. That's why you can't just show up with the Indy Pass and have it scan at the lifts.
