Sound good I think we just had the january thaw and its behind usWe've been waiting for a colder temperature window to repair the surfaces. Plus, it's an adventure operating on steep terrain with warm, waterlogged snow. Mittersill will reopen tomorrow.
We're taking the day today to assess the mountain as the temps drop off a cliff here in a few hours, start work. Will likely take us two nights to get it all back up to speed, but the weather is favorable and it's setting up to be an awesome weekend.
Cannon tomorrow, initially also planned Thursday but may change to Sugarloaf (chasing the best weather)Could be another sneaker snow day Thursday morning, though it should warm up quite a bit vs today.
I was at sugarloaf today and it was really really nice skiing for sureCannon tomorrow, initially also planned Thursday but may change to Sugarloaf (chasing the best weather)
I haven’t been in years, and my regular Cannon buddy has been wanting me to ski with him there (his favorite Mt in NE)…a decision to worry about late tomorrow!I was at sugarloaf today and it was really really nice skiing for sure
yup almost seems like a repeat from last saturday...........mon-wed looked like it was awesome ! kick in the pants it is, working sucksThe refreeze Friday/Saturday has me a little concerned.
The Cannon Effect surprised us. Last two weeks have been a wild ride.Cannon was fantastic yesterday. We didn't think the glades would be in decent shape and it appears we were wrong, but it was still an awesome day. Got there late and still got first tracks in lots of places, including the unplowed parking lot.
