Catamount remains committed to hotel project; will defend approvals
Catamount is convinced the approved hotel project remains viable. Pre-marketing efforts the past two years revealed significant and genuine interest, and planning board, zoning board and recent court decisions have been favorable to moving ahead.
After the New York Supreme Court in Albany denied all opposition appeals, the legal process moves to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York to rule on the appeals by the opponent. With the appeal process likely to extend into 2017, the hotel project is temporarily suspended. Catamount will defend the approvals in order to move the project forward.
