Can anyone tell me what the skiing's like at Jay right now? Have they recovered from the recent January thaw? I've never been there before, and I want it to count, so I'm trying to figure out whether it's worth going next week or if I should put it off. Thanks!

Well they just got 12-18" since Sunday and are expecting another big dump early next week. I think it's probably a good time to head up.

the skiing at jay is pretty great overall right now and is just getting better after each dump. the thaw didn't hurt the base in higher elevations to badly, and the glades are in good shape. its amazing the difference a week makes, crap one day, knee deep pow a couple days later. things could get out of control if we get a big dump early next week. probably really crowded this weekend though.
