My family (and several others) go to Attitash every August when we are camping in Bartlett, and it's a great day. The water slides are short but lots of fun, the lines are never very long, the wading pool is great for little kids, and the Alpine Slide rules!

The lines for the Alpine Slide can be really long (sometimes close to an hour), but the view from the quad chair to the presidentials is terrific and the ride down is a blast. Just keep those hands inside the sled and don;t wind up in the infirmary getting stitches like my crazy neighbor.......
