Great pics, what do you suppose the vertical is on that mountain in the clouds?

If I remember correctly I think the vertical was around 3000-3500 feet. I know the top elevation is 5,436 feet.

Every time I see mountainous terrain in either tropical or desert climates, I always feel sorry for them because mountains always look better with snow on them. If the world was designed by me all mountains would be in temperate to arctic climates, or tall enough Mt Hilowaya) to produce snowfall. Its kind of like what Calvin from "Calivin and Hobbs" would say:
"If it were up to me we wouldnt see grass from November to April"
