They retail for about $70-100. So $40 is a steal. I have not seen them in Costco for some time.

I have this fancy digital model I got from Sportsmans Guide for $62.

I'm definitely a fan of these boot dryers, and would definitely recommend a 4 pronged one like TB pictured above or like the one in my link.

That way you can do 2 people's gloves at the same time, then switch to 2 people's boot liners when they're done. And they work remarkably fast too, I only leave mine on for about an hour and they're bone dry. Not something you can fly with, but I pack it in the car whenever we go to Vermont or Lake Placid.
