that puts them somewhere around sept 23. i guess here in the east, we can probably start counting down. 3 months til snowmaking ... yuch.

Yep. It's brutal when the last skiing is the first weekend of May. The summer never seems to end.

not true!! back in the good ol' days, before it was ruined by ASC, powdr and a horde of evil leprechauns, killington used to start making snow in mid-august! that was awesome. now killington sucks.

I was surprised to see so much snow on the peaks on my drive to the airport Monday. Made me jones.
