Trip Report:
Arrived with my 2 daughters at 9 just as the lift started spinning. Snow report said 2 lifts, one was the magic carpet. They had top to bottom skiing with a few ways down. Pick of the day was Satellite Summit to Meteor. Galaxy had a terrain park set up at the top so it was a popular place to be. Moon walk was a bit scratchy in spots but very skiable. Coverage on all open trails was good; if it wasnt the entire width, it was very close. The guns were going all day so expect some more trails to open. All in all a good first day for the season. Called it a day at 3, longest wait at the lift was 2 chairs ahead of us or about 20 seconds....
