My uncle used to make something similar. Just had no turns in it. There was a road leading into his field that he plowed up the earth on the sides to make banks. was tons of fun!

Someday, when we do move to VT and have a nice piece of property, we'll have to do this. That and the other suggestion he was given (thin out the trees a little bit for some home-made glades).
