NSFW, as in not suitable for the wallet.
I got an Email yesterday from Black Diamond saying that they had just put more stuff on clearance.
There are some good deals on all sorts of goodies including Avalung Packs, Fritschi Diamir bindings, and skis, but most of the skis are "seconds." I will check this page every now and then because it looks like they put stuff on here regularly.
If anyone needs poles, I have these and love them. They are on sale (Traverse Pole).
And I spent way too much time consternating over which Avalung pack to get. With avalanche out here being a real threat, I figured that the Avalung would be a good insurance policy. Having the main office and store here, I decided to go over and try on the Covert and the Outlaw. Snowmonster has the Covert. The folks were really helpful and encourage me to load each pack, including skis, to get a feel for which one worked for me. Both carried skis well but the Outlaw, with its awesome zipper along the back of the pack allowing me to slide it over and access the main compartment (for my DSLR) sold me. That and the ability to carry skis multiple ways. The Covert felt like a nice comfortable school pack with a great diagonal ski set up, but for a few dollars more the Outlaw had two reinforcing aluminum stays that gave it more support. O

Anyways, great prices on stuff.
