So Sunday was Jacksons closing day, which was also my 100th day of the season. Doubled my previous season best of 50 days. Im actually currently at 101 days, as the mtn held employee ski day this morning. It was still puking up top! Official stats for the season:
- 605" total snowfall (with about 3 more today and still puking) - should end up with around 700" by the time hiking season is through
- 135" base on closing day
- 101 of 128 days the resort was open, new snow was reported
- Jackson's all time best season in terms of snowfall, consistency, and overall awesomeness.
Its been awesome, and Im really sad to be seeing it end. I should be able to get a few days in this week at Targhee, and then Ill be hiking the pass and Snow King. Plus Ill be getting a day in back east afterall at Sunday River, plus a day in Tucks. All told I should be around 110-115 when its all said and done.
Which brings me to the original point of this thread. Who else has made it to 100 days this season? Theres gotta be a couple out there. Im thinking it should be known as "The Executive Club", kinda like those lounges at the airport for the frequent fliers.
