"Got a good reason..."

Anyway, instead of hijacking a thread, I thought I would ask, what routines does everyone do for a day trip.

Now I won't ski Jersey anymore, I'll go to the pokes for 1-1 1/2 hour drive, more likely up to the skills for a 2-2 1/2 hour drive.

Some poeple talk about geasring up in the lot. I've never, as long as I've been skiing done that. Drive up, and drop off. Now with the family it makes tons more sense.

Here's the original

So what's your routine? I'm still trying to determine if billski is pulling my leg or not.

all depends, if it is midweek i always go to the lodge(unless it is really nice out) weekends ussually the car, unless it is really cold or we get there early. Also matter what ski area it is. wildcats lodge has so much room we ussually always go in first. same with cannon tram base.

I've got a season locker at Hunter...all the ski equipment for the family stays there. Just too much hassle to try to get everyone (wife and 3 kids) into their equipment in the lot.

Might have to think about a second locker...there's alot of crap in the one I have now. Remember the scene in the Marx bros film "Animal Crackers"?
