Deda Elementi RHM01 Alloy Aero Handlebar
Let's say that you like the position of the tops of your bars in relation to your saddle, but want the drops higher to make them more easily accessible. The design of Deda's RHM01 Alloy Handlebar does just that. With its 75mm reach and 128mm drop, it's undoubtedly a shallow handlebar, and what sets it really apart is its Continuous Incremental Radius. This patented design has a rounded drop that would sit well with traditionalists that despise anatomic bends. The radius is shortest at the top of the drops and increases slightly towards the ends of the bar.
In comparison to Deda's other handlebars, the RHM01 is shaped like the Presa and Zero100, though material differences are what make this one the most affordable. Where the Presa uses carbon fiber, and the Zero100 relies on triple-butted 7075 aluminum, the RHM01 is made of double-butted 6061 aluminum alloy. It's plenty strong for big riders and even though it gives away some grams to the more expensive parts, it's still fairly light and tips the scales at just over 300 grams. It's also similar to the RHM02, though the RHM02 has an aero cross-section on the tops where this RHM01 handlebar is entirely round.
