The Derek Trucks Band's summer tourdates have been announced. The DTB will be opening a number of shows for The Allman Brothers Band, a few summer festivals, and a few shows with the Allmans and Tom Petty. Here they are!

I will try to give the readers digest version of something I saw on the Phil zone. The dead were going to play a few festivals this year. Rat dog Phil and friends Mule and the Dead. Warren was on board with the Dead.
They put off an Allman brothers tour so Warren could join in. D Trucks decided to go out on tour with Eric Clapton. Well the dead reunion...tour deal just got to big and fell through. So then the Allmans Scrambled to put a summer tour together. They broke it up so D Trucks could still meet his summer commitments. I read the Philzone post which was re-print of a lesh list e-mail. Seemed very credible and meets the facts so far quite well.

So enjoy the D Trucks band anyway.
