Did any of you make it to Killington this weekend?

Despite the cold on Saturday it was still a great early weekend to be there. My most thrilling moment came today when I was there when they were about to drop the rope on Superstar. I couldn't wait until Ski Patrol had it completely down so I ducked under and was one of the first one to ski it. It felt great under the skis and in some parts you felt like you were floating. I hope some of you made it there to enjoy the goods that Powdr was offering. Great snow on all the open runs on Sky Peak. My son was practicing his mogul technique on lower Sky Lark most of the day today. Good snow on Snowdon as well.

I did ski with Geoff today and I also skied with Skiadikt yesterday. Roark recognized me yesterday - I at first did not know it was him because he was wearing his face mask to protect himself from the cold.

Greg, thanks for throwing me in that flick. I didn't even know you were filming me. And a big thanks to you and the rest of the crew for being cool to the only snowboarder in the group. It was fun ripping with you guys!

Indeed, nice to see you (and quite a few other Kzoners). Great day. I didn't make plans to meet with anyone but immediately ran into Allskiing at the gondi who was waiting for Atomic1 and Jersey Joey. Saw Skidork and the kids, gsmashed, and a few others. Lower skye lark was awesome. Enjoyed upper royal flush as well.

I just love that the highlight for that video is the shot of me way in the backseat... ;)

Any shot of you will have you way in the backseat. :-o

I don't think you're in the backseat. I think its an optical illusion due to the actual angle of the skis (making right turn) but I think you're OK.

ok if brian is backseat, what do you call that maneuver in your avatar? in the side saddle? :flame:

More like the "oh crap I'm going too fast and these bumps are too big for my feeble goose-stompin' ass slow the eff down cross cut turn maneuver". I use it all the time.

where's the flaming? i expect some smarmy response and you give us this????

those bumps were funky though. I wiped out on 2 straight runs through there on thursday. about 7 or 8 turns in they just got really really spaced out.

They weren't big, but that's the best I could come up with to defend my gaperness, ya dig?
