Difference in bump skis

Without having a ton of technical knowledge, I would say yes by simply looking at the size of the skis. Must bump competitors in the 80s were skiing on 195-203cm boards. Today you see people in the 175-180 range.

Back in the day, I remember trading in my 185 Rossi 4M as they felt too small.
