what paved road do you drive on the way to ski/board that always covers your rig in mud? I dont mean a light dusting but a thick heavy coat...mebbe some nasty red clay type...so bad that when you get home the wife gives you a look and asks if you went out and got a different car without telling her.....so dirty you run outta washer fluid getting it off.....so dirty you gotta take a fire hose to wash it down...

My vote goes to NY 10 nearby Windham..... it could be the middle of August in a drought with 40 straight days of heat and somehow that road will still do the nasty on my rig-
thats one dirtya$$ stretch of road

We took a short-cut to Stratton on Friday that was partially paved and the front of my truck was so bad, my brother-in-law had to get out on the highway because the mud on the head lights was cutting down visibility pretty substantially!

Plattekill Mountain Road...after driving up and down it the last 2 days while it was snowing and then melting, my black truck is covered quite thick in mud...all the way up to the windows...its now clay/brown colored :)

Route 28 from the Phoenicia bridge and west. It's always wet and muddy, combined with the high speed traffic it leaves a film of mud on my car. The next day I'll usually stop by the car wash.

I find salt more of an issue than dirt. Although, it was warm last weekend and the unpaved road our house is on was a little messy. Not as bad as mud season though. I gotta take pics of that. It's like driving through a moto cross course...but full of mud.

I also find the Salt all over the vehicle, from the highway travel, to be more of a pain!

The dirt up in the Catskills is the worst for me. Even on days that the roads are clear, my vehicles come out looking very muddy.
