Still a seeded line at mid-station.
Bumps were being skied in on Eisenhower too...steep and very tight.
Plenty of bumps as of the end of last week.
Hope the rain today didn't kill too much.
DMC, Our ski club ( 20 members ) is scheduled to make its annual trip to Hunter next Tuesday. Our coordinater is having issues with Hunter management regarding lodge/food/tickets accomodations. Now we read your comments concerning conditions. I would appreciate your comments about recovery efforts with snowmaking, and whether conditions at other mountains, ( Windham, Greek, Bellayre ) are in the same shape as Hunter.

Expect a full out assault of the mountain with a recovery like no other mountian can. I Expect great conditions this weekend with plenty of powder bumps where snowmaking is going on. There is a USSA B mogul event on IKE Saturday and Sunday so it's mostly closed.

I'm not DMC, but in my limited experience Hunter can recover more quickly from an event like this than any resort I've ever skied, even in my imagination. I was there 48 hours after a major ice storm and virtually every run had been completely resurfaced. They can absolutely crank the snowmaking if the weather permits, which it looks like it will.
Thanks for all of the Hunter responses. If we weren't getting grief from mgmt., the condition question probably would not have arisen. Hunter's reputation as " the snowmaking capitol of the East" is well earned. I hope they take the opportunity to impress everyone with their capability, and look forward to hearing about it.
How's Ice doing? Hunter A's are kicking it this year.
