Haven't seen one.

Maybe in one of the back areas, ask nicely and you might be able to find one.

Until today, I didn't even know there was a summit lodge.

Great place to go to grab a snack, or just warm up by the fire for a bit. (Also nice if you're bringing a lunch). One of the most oddly designed buildings I've seen.

I noticed the building, but never realize it was a lodge until today. Never thought about it even, but if I was pressed on answer as to what is there, I'd probably say a utility shack or patrol station.

No kidding. Even though they had a sign up that the Summit Lodge was open I couldn't wrap my head around that apparently tiny building being anything but some kind of shack, and actually passed by it for lack of an obvious entrance. Had to find the door on the side and actually go in before it all made sense.

P.S.: Prices @ the snack bar were surprisingly not outrageous for a ski area (coffee was $1.75, Soup du Jour* $3.25)

*Customer: Garcon? Could you please tell me what the Soup du Jour is?
Waiter: But of course, Sir -- it is the soup of the day!

Oh, and you gotta love the collection of old ski equipment on the Snack Bar level, including a set of skis with NAVA boots and bindings.

Having only heard of but never seen those before, I have to express my utter shock -- SHOCK, I say -- that they never took off in a major way. Seriously, I couldn't even figure out how they were supposed to work.

Yeah the sign is what tipped me off, I didn't even notice it, my friend did.

I saw one pair of skis on that wall that were a Sears brand :)

There's a lower entrance as well around the back, easier to go in if you're just using the bathroom. I always love the haul rope railing along the stairs. They really ought to mark it better, but it is nice in that it's usually empty.

I think that's only part of the collection, there used to be a big display in the main lodge, but that area seems to be being re-modeled right now.

Empty it was, which was nice considering the lot was full and the base area looked busy. And it's kind of hidden from the HSQ, which probably helps since that lift seemed to get the most traffic.
