I'm just guessing, but I'm sure this guy has no trouble skiing bumps.

Just a guess.

Ive found I cant browse that forum for to long without getting depressed, you should see the TR's they post over there on a daily basis. If they dont make you want to drop everything and move out west, nothing does.

That's one of the reasons I stopped going on there. My flame suit wasn't rated high enough too.

I said that too......I actually said I would go out for one year.....13 years later and over 1000 ski days I am still here in Aspen, happier than ever I would add.

i bet he's bored of bumps.

btw - I question the validity of the picture. Namely the 4th frame in the sequence. Somethings not right.

VERY NICE. Fill us in on your deal there Lloyd.

quick program. Graduated college after a brief 7 year stint, saw the Grateful Dead 3 nights in DC at RFK and moved to Aspen. It was our (college friends) second choice to Telluride but a buddies parents had some property not far from Aspen and we had all been visiting so it turned out to be a better fit. When I moved here I did what any true skier does, I worked in a local bar, at night, and skied everyday. I drank every night I worked.....It was a vicious circle of events. After some time out of Aspen, I ended up back with a position (mgr) in one of the High end hotels, from that I was offered a sales position with my current company. I met many women in the middle but ended up with the one, and we are actually getting married in the carribean next week. We own an 1100 sqare foot condo that was recently appraised at 1000 dollars a square foot and I skied 70 days this year, at least 50 with my future wife. We both work hard to have what we have built, and that is a wonderful life that is spent mostly outdoors in the mountains. The community was the staple that kept both of us in town for so many years. Many come to Aspen, some leave, but the mountains always get snow and I don't have to lock my house.

I could go into more but I would not want to incriminate anyone........:)

So, in reality, YOU are the man.

I'm a bit jealous, but just a bit. Mostly about the skiing. Haven't been to Aspen for a long time, but I remember liking it alot. It's changed alot in 25 years, hasn't it?

If I could score an actual career out there that would be money, but I feel like those are few and hard to come by.
