Dunkin Donuts is for Sale

In the next 10 years they plan to triple the number of Dunkin Donuts. The way I see it, that means it has to expand away from New England, since we already have one on every corner here.

Dunkin Donuts is like the Bud Light of coffee...

Agree, DD coffee is pretty weak...but I've found that Starbucks is too strong for my tastes (and my stomach) lately...wouldn't mind finding something in-between.

In any case, I hope that DD doesn't try to expand too fast. FWIW, DDs are the place to get donuts in New England and I'd hate to see them have problems.

One other thing...for bagels, my preferences are either Einstein Bros. or Panera Bread...

Most DD dissapeared a few years ago from Ontario. Now you find mostly Tim Horton's. If I remember well, DD was pretty lame. They did not keep with the time. I used to like them when I was much younger though.

Yup, Starbucks coffee just plain blows me away. I'm very sensitive to caffeine and I feel like I'm taking amphetamines when I drink it.

I love Starbucks - good stuff. Green Mtn Coffee is pretty good too.

Just look what happened to Krispy Kreme when they expanded too fast. They flopped around here. DD needs to be careful in their expansion.
