Elk Sun St. Party days

Snow was amazing. Really good grooming at Elk. Real snow all day. Nice skiing with.everyone while I was their not for very Long. Cold got to me early, and I was kind of an off off off day for me. You never know they had non snow events just days ago. Moguls looked nice hopefully next winter I be skiing them a lot.

Food was not so good on the hill. The cheesecake was beeter then the hot dig and cheese burger. Really nice thing about extra sun is drive home is so much better now, so I stopped in Dickson city close to town of Scott and ate at the Waffles place was off the hook. Waffles pecans, 2 goods eggs scrambled, great coffee, hash Brown was very good, less then $10 .

Awesome to hear that they're in good shape after the rain. Did I hear correctly that they were still making snow last week? I plan on hitting Elk for a day trip this Sunday with my boy. Conditions were good on all 3 days I was there this season, hoping to go 4 for 4!

mr scott was skiing hungry and thusly off his game a little...glad to hear the waffles finished the job that the hot dog hamburger and cheesecake could not

elk was great, given the recent weather...yesterday was alternating sun and snow and sometimes sunsnow...no lines all day, tunk was in good shape...and a good, if not motley, crue of a-zoners to boot

I know, I had the Bacon egg and cheese at Elk in the morning but that taste was not so good. It was just was was one of those days I guess. Still great to be out ,just not my best days, conditions were awesome as has been any time I been there this year. Maybe I buy my season pass from Elk for next year.

yeah, mr scott neglected to mention that he was skiing in a sweater...i think the temp was about 19F when i pulled into the lot

Light fleece with thermal and shirt under the fleece, wind I wasn't expecting, I will use a coat for the Bush trip for sure. No candles needed at The Bush next weekend Cornhead because it is not a super 8 that I had gotten in trouble for in Steamboat CO. For doing what is now legal to do in Colorado.

Storm is shaping up for a potentially epic trip!! Great skiing with you guys. My order got f'ed up so I may or may not have my new skis which could definitely be an issue ugh...
