Not sure but on Kzone they said 91 was shut down from exit 3 to 5 or something like that due to a sheet of ice on the road.

I feel better now... NOT!

I was caught at the jam betweet exit 3/4. I saw it on Google Navigator. But the local roads are in pretty bad shape so I got back on I-91 instead. Sat for 10-15 minute with no movement. And then VERY slowly move between exit 3 to 4. Not much problem after that. Much early time frame though. So the volume was expected.

I didn't think the road were that bad. Crossing from MA into VT, I dropped my speed from 80 down to 60 then to 40~50. I consider that and ok situation. It was snowing at the time. But I did see quite a few car (all SUV) slide off to the side of the road, I'm guessing going too fast for the condition.

My guess? The 11 o'clock jam was probably the left over of people being delayed earlier...

So far, the skiing was only ok, given the horrendous drive to get up here. Hope tomorrow and Monday will improve.

It backed up a bit by exit 1 for the bridge Friday night. We usually do exit 2, but opted to jump off 1. Crazy ride from Greenfield north Friday evening.

Agreed! I rolled into my place at Mount Snow about 7 Friday night - way too many instances of white out driving for my comfort level! Just glad that I basically have every turn/bump in the road memorized from all my trips up here since there were a few instances where I was relying on that road knowledge as opposed to actual vision!
