^ I've always felt that Sunday River's glades are seriously underrated. The marked glades ski very well and then there's the whole series of unmarked but named glades. And, yes, the unmarked glades have very interesting names.

And then there are the unmarked glades with no names at all. But, that's another discussion.

I would think more know where the entrance is that those who don't

I think that's true of 90% of all "Secret stashes" at any mountain. The "secret" nature of these things is ridiculous. If it's between the boundaries of an eastern mountain, it's likely that it's not THAT secret.

Honestly, I'm not opposed to sharing stuff. I just thought I would get flamed for it.

Exactly. But what I'm saying is that the flamer's attitude is most-likely ridiculous.

Example: If you can SEE skier tracts heading into the woods from a marked trail, it's clearly not a "secret".

Well, I will share one....Cantelope @ MRG. It's probably the most well known unmarked trees at MRG and thus gets skied out pretty quickly. But if you can get in there just after a storm it can be fun. Entrance is at the top of the single between Catamount and Upper Antelope (thus the name). I am sure most people know about this but thought I would share anyways.

Who named these things...a 13 year old boy?

Judging from who told me about these glades, they were way older than 13 and they were not male. And yes, most SR unmarked glades have R-rated names.

Never thought that had a name. Now, I know.
