LMBFAO...and I'm afraid to hit the big mo-fo booter at Blue mountain..the smaller ones that are 15-20 feet are no problem but the big mo-fo is like 35-40 feet..which means if you only clear 30 feet and get knuckled..you have a hard icy flat landing..

When I moved out to Montana 6 years ago..I thought I'd be hucking huge cliffs..but I never had the balls for that..since having a backbreaking injury would be bad for my skiing.

I'll be 36 next month...started at 3...fear isn't really a factor at this point...there are things I didn't do at 18 that I wouldn't hesitate to do now. Do I have my limits, sure but at this point they haven't changed due to age. Ripping is relative...

Between the ears???? Guess that's why I stated most rippers THAT I KNOW have had formal ski training. That thing between the ears that's telling you to slow down, well it doesn't exsist for those dudes. Just sayin'

I don't buy that, they still have that fear, everyone does, otherwise everyone would be out droppin 50+ foot cliffs daily or they'd have already done something ridiculous and mangled themselves or worse. It just takes more to put that fear/sense of self preservation in them.

the Natural, ladies and gentleman.

lol

Why so funny? You do not think that certain people have an innate ability for certian things. What about musical prodigies? Idiot savants?(not very PC, sorry) I have taught other hockey players to ski and by the end of the day they were skiing at an advanced level.

That is all, from the Natural.

Hockey players are the easiest people to teach how to ski, but advanced level in one day WOW.

Yes, an advanced trial and doing advanced stem christie. This was back in the mid 80's. Why so cynical? People have innate abilities.

There was no such thing as a stem christie being taught in the mid 80's or any 80's for that matter. Skiing an advanced trail is diff than skiing to an advanced level.
