I actually learned something from this survey.. I had never even considered to make sure to pass boarders on their toe-side. Its a very courteous thing to do and Ill make sure to do it this season!! :wink:

Excellent point...the cause of many skier/snowboarder collisions comes from trying to pass snowboarders on their heel or blind side. Then you hear the skier complaining that the boarder "turned right into me".

Well, that's because they couldn't see you. We all need to think a little out there.

Same here; I heard of their "blind side" but didn't know how to determine it. I too will now pass on the toe side. Communication- amazing how well it works at times!
