Do the Whites ever get the jackpot in a major snow event? Seems like it's only ever leftovers from storms that hit either the Greens or Maine first.
There's a reason NH resorts don't do nearly as well as the Vermont resorts or SR/Loaf as far as attendance and revenue go.

VT (particularly from Killington north) also has the added advantage of orographic enhancement.

Also I should add, as far as major snow events go... Vermont's ski areas are mostly right in the spine of the greens and there's no shadowing there. Most of New Hampshire's ski areas are smaller mountains in the shadow of Mt Washington and Mt Lafayette.

So far, a very narrow band has set up that is all of 20 miles wide or so. Pretty much goes from the 90/87 intersection south of Albany, then straight over Mt Snow, and then onto Laconia (maybe over Ragged?). It could move around a little bit, but it has been pretty steady for a couple hours.

Something that bears watching.

Hopefully southern VT did alright, storm is a bust in central MA. 2.5" and doesn't look like much more to come.

Will head to Magic for opening since I already made a reservation and paid for RFID but prepared to go to Mt Snow in the afternoon (probably when free parking goes into effect lol) if they aren't dropping ropes.
