Love the expression "Red Sky in morning, sailor take warning". Sky's outside the condo with a beautiful red hue this morning. Possible 4-7 in Grand County over the weekend. The long range still has good things for both east and west.

Are you there? Definitely snowing mid mountain & up high up but I'm wondering if it's rain at the base.

Raining unusually hard at my elevation.
Almost made it there..then my new transmission started acting up..so off to the trans shop.
Just looked at the epic app..canyon side all lifts but tomb, over, and iron on windhold.
Guess ill figure it out later.

Stratton and Killington have been skiing quite well at least the last 3 weeks or so. The woods at both those mountains have been pretty good with minimal boneiness. Haven't been over to Pico though. Has been very windy this year though which could be a problem in exposed spots. Keep hearing that due to the recent lack off refresher's Colorado at least is sporting a lot of hard pack these days so overall the east (where they have been getting small refresher's lately) might be in better shape for now.

Total glop fest at pc...on top of a pretty icy base...
Was not worth it. Then thunder shut the whole place down for a while.
In the woods for some rather large moguls..Screenshot_20250207_144900_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20250207_144909_Gallery.jpg

Tomorrow will be alot better. Gonna be a zoo everywhere though…

I'll mandatorily be there at about 8:35am due to ski school.

The worst part is the initial RPG/OBX up; after that I know how to "hide" from the hoard.

5" already down, so it looks like this may end up on the high side of the 4" to 10" forecast.

8" already, this is definitely overperforming.

Much needed too. the OneTheSnow guy said PC's basically matching about the worst season on record through yesterday, but I didnt get a year to know how far back that would be. Probably at least 40 years or so I'd imagine as we were already at the worst in 33 years (1992).

Well..I skied from saddleback to peak 5...hopefully it just doesnt freeze up. It was not pleasant to ski on it today.
Saw a few heading up to 99....that might be the go to tomorow...
Alta reporting 11 plus....
