This is a really good deal.

And if you have the $10 cards they were handing out for ordering before Christmas you can save some more coin.

I snagged one and am looking forward to using it. Pit zips, nice hood, good fit, and great price.

I was in Freeport yesterday at the main store and missed this great sale. I burned a $30 gift certificate on an Oxford instead.

I saw that they introduced some nice down coats in their Ascent line. I will say that their higher end gear offerings are significantly better than they had been.

Pulled the trigger. I will look good in Red. Mrs. Skimaine will not be happy when the bill comes, but she did get new skis this year.

I have a similar jacket. The fabric is awesome. Blocks out the wind really well. Mine doesn't have a hood though, I'm definitely going to ordering this. Thanks for the link!

So I just got back from the first day using it at Snowbird and it is nice. Great fit, warm enough, and the pit zips MADE MY DAY! First softshell with Pit Zips. Awesome. And for some reason I don't think they are making this anymore...why I don't know...it is perfect!

Day two, a bit warmer outside, and still very happy. The pit zips work perfectly...which is a first since most of my other coats don't work so well. Grab it while you can.

Thank God they ran out of my size for this shell. They've had this on sale since this summer and I was tempted several times. Can't justify getting another jacket and logging on to the Bean site was too much temptation.
