The Mount Washington Observatory just recorded the highest average mean temperature for June EVER at 51.5F which is 7.1F warmer than average.

What is more amazing is that no daily record temperatures were broken.

and may was probably one of the coldest, atleast it was freezing here.
It just seems weather is just crazier now...

Granted there is no definitive evidence that humans are warming the environment but it is pretty convincing (and scary evidence). Imagine a winter that is 6 degrees warmer....Say goodbye to good skiing if that actually happens.

Who needs winter when u have tenneys state of the art snowmaking system, 100 years from now well be able to ski everyday with shorts and t-shirt(sry i just love to make fun of tenney  )

I have read research that suggests that as the climate warms even more, extreme weather events of today such as the killer heat wave in the midwest in 2002 and Boston's record snowfall in 2005 may become common place in the future.

Global warming would mean longer hotter summers, with higher overnight temperature minimums and shorter more extreme winters with possibly higher snowfalls in the short term.

The weather channel had a graph yesterday of the equitorial region of the atlantic that shows water surface temperatures between 0 - 10 degress north to be 2-4F above average, which is feeding these early season hurricanes.

Dennis is the first category 4 hurricane to hit Cuba in July in recorded weather history.
