looking at

HD HERO 960 $179.00 (on their site anyway)

any reviews, suggestions? Just for tooling around, videoing the kids skiing, mtn biking etc......

Missing from the HD HERO 960 are 720p @ 60fps, 1080p video.

That kills it for me right there. I don't see a lot of use for the 960p mode, so that really leaves you with 720p @ 30 fps. I'd wait for REI to have another 20% off sale and get the HD Hero.
