I have skied eighteen days in a row now, and I have to say the snow right now rocks! I have split my time between Cannon and Loon. Was at Loon yesterday and today, yesterday was a lot of of fun with 6" of new snow, today was just as good! PP was the predominant surface condition. Off of the Kanc Quad I hit Lower Picked Rock eight times in a row just because it cruised sooooo well! Then it Upper/Lower Walking Boss after that.

Snowmaking has started on Boon's Run and Cruiser at South Peak, that I think is scheduled to open before Christmas.

With more snow on the way this weekend is going to rock!

Awesome.

I'm planning on a midweek day at Loon later this year sometime... Cruiser and Boom uncrowded will be amazing... I really like those two trails.

I'll be at Loon on Sunday... hopefully the winds won't be too bad.

I grabbed a coffee at the Dunkin' Donuts in Lincoln today on my way up to the Balsams (for work unfortunately) things looked very good, fresh winter. I need to hit Loon up this winter as I pulled into the D&D 1:35 from leaving my door. It might be the best 'big' option for day trips for me, so it's a possible consideration if I decide to get a pass next year, especially having the early and late season option of the River.
