We were on the flats, and my bud reminded me that she was probably pissed because she had lost all her momentum. Double bad me.

You didn't offer to tow her to get going again?? Geesh

I have a snowboarder and used to have to tow him often thru the flats (not enough weight to keep going on his own). Now when I see one kind of stuck and swinging their arms, I offer out a ski pole but most don't understand as I come by (despite my "want a tow?").

I've been known to give a pole to a boarder or two to help them out on a long flat. Looks painful to see them kind of flopping around trying to get to some pitch.
