WATERVILE VALLEY, New Hampshire -- Recently chosen to perform at the prestigious Bonnaroo Music Festival this June, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals will first make a stop at Waterville Valley, New Hampshire for the resort’s annual concert on April 7. Described as an organ-fueled blues-rock quartet, the band is fast building a loyal and rapidly expanding fan base throughout the U.S.

The band is led by 23-year-old Grace Potter on the B-3 organ whose vocals have drawn comparisons to legends like Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt and Janis Joplin. The Nocturnals are made up of Scott Tournet on lead guitar and harmonica, Bryan Dondero, upright/electric bass and Matthew Burr, drums/percussion. More about the band can be found at www.gracepotter.com.

Potter and the Nocturnals have been nominated for two Jammy Awards-their song "Toothbrush and My Table" got a nod for Song of the Year, and was nominated for "Best New Groove" (a Jammys term for best new band). The band's spirited and inventive sound is a blend of blues, americana and rock n' roll.

Doors open at 6:00 pm for the 18+ show with the opening act at 7:00 and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals on stage at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 day of show. College students with a current ID get in for $15. Tickets can be purchased online at www.waterville.com.
