I am noticing a sudden downfall in snowboard graphics. Every year they seem to get worse and worse. I dont know if the skiiers have seen a decrease in good graphics or not. I know that looks are not everything, and its mainly performance, but i also like a sleek looking board. Check out www.burton.com and tell me if you agree.

i can't speak for snow board graphics, but lately... most ski graphics have been really uninspiring. just in my own closet, comparing the beautiful dynastar inspired to the legend 8000 is night and day (first year run of 8000s, btw.... the last year and this year graphics for the 8000s are beyond crappy, imo). volkl really hit a great run of graphics around 03-04 or so, i haven't been impressed with their recent designs.

i am a big fan of simplicity. i like plain, straight forward, elegent looking designs. nothing too loud, but also something that has minimalistic graphics that add some presence. that is my view of all design though, less is more.

I ski on the bottoms. What's on the topskin doesn't matter very much.

My all-time favorite graphic is the Volkl Zebra. It's been around since around 1970.

I've really been trying to find some naked lady graphics on skis, that's what I consider inspiring. Out of luck though, looks like I'll have to make my own.

Graphics are worthless unless you are standing in a gondola line....

I don't really pay too much attention to topsheet graphics, although they are sometimes fun to look at when they're in the racks at the ski shop. Otherwise who really cares, ideally they'd be covered in pow going down a mountain anyway.

I'd be just as happy if my skis were flat black. At least that way no one would be able to tell what crappy skis I'm on. ;)

I think the color/graphics on my 2005-06 AC3 are pretty slick:

I always loved the graphic of my 2001-02 K2 Axis X Pros too:

more plain and simple graphics. It seems to me many boards have there own fairy tale painted on. I also hate boards with just tons of lines every which way (Burton Dominant)

knuckle/helmet:

Why don't you talk about your "design your own graphics" feature you mentioned in KZone?
